13.3. Removal, capital repairs and installation of the lower lever of a forward suspension bracket

The divider of spherical support and new nuts of fastening of the lever, and also fastening of racks of a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability will be required.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Dump pressure in hydraulic system (see the Head Uniform hydraulic system).
2. Prop up antiretractable boots back wheels, then a front of the car and establish to a poddomkratta it on props. Remove the corresponding forward wheel.
3. Weaken and partially turn off a nut of a finger of the lower spherical support (turn off a nut until the end of a carving fingers for the purpose of protection of rounds of the last at release of the hinge). Release a sharovy finger from stupichny assembly by means of a divider of spherical support, then finally remove a nut.
4. Working in a similar manner, partially turn off a nut of fastening of a rack of the stabilizer of cross resistance to the end of a bar of the stabilizer, then release the end of a bar from a rack by means of a divider of spherical support. Remove a nut.

At an otdavaniye of a nut hold the end of a finger of a rack from a provorachivaniye by means of a prutkovy key on 5.0 mm.

5. Turn out two back screws of the lower lever. Pay attention that the most back bolt is used also for fastening of a collar of a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability. Take bolts and remove a stabilizer collar.

6. Give a nut of an axial bolt of fastening of the forward end of the lower lever to a stretcher, then remove assembly of the lever.

Capital repairs

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully clear the lower lever and surfaces around points of its fastening, having completely removed all traces of dirt and an anticorrosive covering. Attentively examine the lever on existence of signs of deformation and other defects of a mechanical order. Special attention should be paid to a condition of axial plugs. Replace defective components. Track that replaceable details according to the characteristics corresponded removed from the car. It is the most correct to use branded spare parts of production of the Citroyon company.
2. Check a shaft of an axial bolt for existence of signs of wear and mechanical damages.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Start assembly of the lower lever on the regular place and freely fill a forward axial bolt. Screw a new nut on a bolt. Do not tighten fixture at this stage.
2. Establish a collar of fastening of a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability, then screw two back bolts of fastening of the lower lever. Do not forget to replace nuts. Besides do not tighten fixture finally so far.
3. Before tightening of nuts the bottom edge of the external end of the lever should be lowered by about 8.0 mm below a stretcher bottom.
4. Having lowered the lever in the required point (see the previous paragraph), tighten fixing nuts with the required effort.
5. Connect the lower spherical support, screw a new nut on her finger and tighten it with the required effort.
6. Connect a rack of the stabilizer of cross resistance to the end of its bar, then screw a new fixing nut and tighten it with the required effort. The core of a spherical finger when tightening a nut can keep from a provorachivaniye by means of a prutkovy key on 5.0 mm.
7. Establish into place a wheel, then lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel nuts with the required effort.
8. Tighten spuskny the gate of the regulator of pressure and transfer a control lever a suspension bracket to situation "Maximum" (see the Head Uniform hydraulic system).
