All petrol Citroyon Xantia models with the distributed injection of fuel are designed for operation on gasolines with octane number not below AI of 95 (RON). It is necessary to notice that not all models are equipped with the catalytic converter (an exception models of 1.8 l with the L6A engine and models of 2.0 l with the R6D engine make). The models equipped with the converter should be fuelled only unleaded, otherwise, existence in fuel of lead will lead to an irreversible exit of the catalyst out of operation.
Unleaded gasoline of the SUPER brand (with octane number 98) also suits for gas station of all models though it and does not give noticeable advantage.
