4.1.3. Removal and installation of a cover of a head of cylinders

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

2. Release fixing collars and disconnect ventilating hoses from the right first line of a cover of a head of cylinders. The company collars of the twisted type established at manufacturer should be cut off and at assembly to replace more practical screw or worm.

3. Release a collar and disconnect from a forward wall of a cover of a head of cylinders the connecting air cleaner with the throttle case an air inlet sleeve. Also disconnect the air inlet brought to the left edge of a cover.

4. Release two clamps, then turn out two fixing screws located in front of and remove an air cleaner cover from a cover of a head of cylinders. Take the filtering element and put it aside together with an air cleaner cover.

5. In stages evenly weaken ten fixing nuts and uncover a head of cylinders.

6. Remove also sealing laying of a cover. Attentively study a condition of laying, in case of detection of mechanical defects or signs of aging of material make replacement.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully smooth out and wipe the interfaced surfaces of a head of cylinders and its cover, having completely removed from them oil traces.
2. Lay rubber sealing laying in a flute on a head of cylinders, having tracked correctness of its landing on all length.

3. Grease with suitable sealant of a cover of bearings since both ends of the camshaft in places of their joining with the interfaced surface of a cover of a head of cylinders.

4. Accurately, trying not to displace laying, lay a cover of a head of cylinders on the engine.

5. Having made sure that laying is not displaced, screw fixing nuts and in stages evenly tighten them in the required order with the set effort.

6. Establish into place the filtering element and a cover of the air cleaner. Strongly tighten fixing screws and latch clamps.
7. Connect ventilating hoses and air sleeves to a cover of a head of cylinders and reliably fix them fixing collars.
8. Connect a negative wire to the battery.
