For check of a condition of K/V coolant on a cartridge of a dehumidifier the special observation port and the indicator of humidity are provided. The dehumidifier is located in the right forward corner of a motive compartment. |
Check of water saturation of coolant
Visually define color of a spot of the indicator of humidity. Blue color of the indicator testifies to the normal state of coolant, red indicates excessive saturation it by moisture. In the latter case the system has to be emptied and recharged. Replacement of a cartridge of a dehumidifier is at the same time made.
Coolant stream consistence assessment

1. Start the engine and turn on the conditioner. 2. Several minutes later glance in an observation port and visually estimate a coolant stream consistence. Liquid has to be absolutely transparent, otherwise it is necessary to try to determine a cause of infringement by a consistence of a stream: - Equal stream of transparent liquid: The system functions regularly; - Liquid is absent at all: Drive away the car for check in a specialized workshop; - At a stream there are transparent bubbles which are evenly distributed in it: Coolant level fell. Drive away the car on car repair shop for a system recharge; - Liquid is stirred up by the bubbles of dairy color which are present at it: Excessive saturation of coolant moisture takes place (see Check of a condition of coolant of the air conditioning system).

Depletion and recharge of system have to be made only by forces of specialists of car service. Do not try to perform this work independently at all — coolant belongs to the highest measure to substances hazardous to health (see the Head of the Cooling system, heating). |
