3.2.25. Replacement of hydraulic LHM liquid and returnable filter
THROUGH EACH 60 000 KM (36 000 MILES) OF THE RUN

In hydraulic systems of the cars of the Citroyon Xantia brand equipped with an active suspension bracket special mineral hydraulic LHM liquid of dark green color is used. Use of liquid of any other type is fraught with failure of rubber hoses and sealing cuffs of system. You store a reserve of hydraulic liquid in hermetically closed container. |

1. Remove and empty in drain capacity the tank of hydraulic liquid (see the Head Uniform hydraulic system).
2. Also merge liquid from a hose of the high pressure connecting the central section of the tank to the hydraulic pump.

3. Release a clamp of fastening of two filters from below to the central section of the tank. |
|
|
4. Take the rectangular filter from the central section of the tank. |
|
|
5. Then develop as appropriate and take the round filter. |
|
|
6. Wash out filters and the tank pure gasoline. Dry components, having ideally blown them compressed air.

|
When using compressed air do not forget to put on goggles! |
7. Install the washed-out filters on the regular place in the central section of the tank, then install the tank (see the Head Uniform hydraulic system).
8. Fill in fresh hydraulic LHM liquid in the tank.
9. Fill with liquid of a cavity of a hydraulic contour (see the Head Uniform hydraulic system).
10. In conclusion check liquid level, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see. Weekly checks).
