5.4. Check of serviceability of functioning, removal and installation of the fan(s) of the cooling system
Check
Giving of food on the fan(s) of the cooling system is carried out via the ignition switch (see the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine) and a safety lock (address the Head Onboard electric equipment). Also thermosensitive sensor switch of the fan on the majority of models installed on a radiator enters a contour.

1. Warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature and leave it working at single turns. The fan has to work just before that as the arrow of the index of temperature will reach the left border of red range of a scale (before the control lamp lights up). In case of refusal the fan in the first it is always necessary to check a condition of the corresponding safety lock. If a safety lock as it should be, switch off ignition and disconnect an electrical wiring from the fan sensor switch. Connect a crossing point two contacts of the electric socket and again include ignition. If now the fan begins to function, it is necessary to replace the faulty sensor switch. |

2. If the fan still does not work, make sure that on the sensor switch socket power supply of the battery (12 V) regularly moves. If food is absent, check a condition of the corresponding electrical wiring. Check for conductivity existence the site of a chain between the plug of grounding of the sensor switch and weight. In case of need restore the lost contact.
3. If performance of all listed checks does not allow to establish a fan cause of failure, it is necessary to check a condition of a driving electric motor. Disunite the electric socket and give a power supply from the battery directly on motor plugs. If the motor does not turn on, replace it assembled. |

Removal

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Remove a decorative front grille (address the Head Kuzov and finishing of salon).
3. Disconnect the left hose of a radiator, then release clamps and incline assembly of a radiator back (if necessary previously dismantle a coal adsorber — see Removal, check of a state and installation of a radiator).

4. Working in space ahead of a radiator, give nuts of three bolts of fastening of the motor. |

|
5. Release an electrical wiring of the driving motor from clamps on a fan casing.
6. Through a body aperture under installation of a front grille take an electric motor from a motive compartment and disconnect from it an electrical wiring.
7. At desire the krylchatka can be removed from a motor shaft after an otdavaniye of the fixing screw / clamp. |

Installation
Installation is made upside-down. Remember that the electrical wiring has to be connected to the motor before its installation on a fan casing.
In conclusion fill the cooling system (address the Head Routine maintenance).
