THROUGH EACH 30 000 KM (18 000 MILES) OF THE RUN
 Components of the fuel filter
| |
| 1 — a cover Bolt 2 — a filter Cover
 | 3 — the Filtering element 4 — the Drain gate

| |
|
| 1. The fuel filter is put into a plastic casing and located in a forward part of the power unit (see an illustration
 Components of the fuel filter
). | |
| 2. At the corresponding complete set cover a coupling dome with a polyethylene film for the purpose of protection of internal components against contact with the following fuel. 3. Get the capacity suitable on volume under a drain hose of the fuel filter. Turn out the drain gate in a forward part of a casing of the filter and completely produce fuel.
 |
| 4. Strongly tighten the drain gate, then give four fixing screws and remove the top cover from a filter casing. | |
| 5. Take the filtering element from a casing. Track that the rubber sealing ring was removed together with the filtering element, but did not remain stuck to an end face to a casing/cover. | |
| 6. Carefully wipe internal surfaces of a casing, having completely cleared them of traces of dirt and foreign particles. Establish the replaceable filtering element. Track existence on the regular place of a sealing ring. 7. Grease a carving part of screws of fastening of a cover with the fixing sealant. Establish a cover on a casing, screw and strongly tighten screws.
 8. Fill a power supply system with fuel (see the Power supply system - diesel models).
 9. Open the drain gate and wait so far the stream of pure transparent fuel will not begin to follow from a hose. Tighten the gate and take drain capacity.
