And — the Working course of a pedal of coupling In — the Free wheeling of a pedal of coupling |
Correctness of adjustment of the drive of coupling is checked by measurement of size of the working course of its pedal. After replacement of a driving cable its shrinkage is made during not less than thirty squeezings of a pedal of coupling.
|
1. Make sure that nothing got under a coupling pedal, then measure distance of the central part of its slip to the basis of a steering wheel (the pedal has to be completely released) now squeeze out a pedal against the stop and repeat measurement. 2. For determination of size of the course of a pedal subtract result of the first measurement from result of the second. Compare the received value to requirements of Specifications. In case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see further). 3. Adjustment of a driving cable is made by an otpuskaniye of an adjusting rayka on the end of a cable turned to transmission (see an illustration
the General scheme of adjustment of a cable of the drive of coupling). On some models access to a lock-nut is limited in this connection it is necessary to remove previously a sleeve of the air cleaner or components of its casing (see the Head of the Power supply system and release). |
4. In a motive compartment weaken a lock-nut on the end of a cable of the drive of coupling turned to transmission. Modify the provision of an adjusting nut, then squeeze out a coupling pedal ten times and repeat measurement of size of its course. Continue to act in the same order until you achieve the required result. |
|
5. Make sure that the size of a free wheeling of a pedal (see an illustration
the General scheme of adjustment of a cable of the drive of coupling) does not exceed 60 mm for what measure distance from an overlay of the released pedal to the basis of a steering wheel, then lift a pedal and repeat measurement; subtract result of the second from result of the first measurement. 6. Having finished adjustment, tighten a lock-nut on the end of a driving cable. Install the air cleaner components which were removed for the purpose of ensuring access (see the Head of the Power supply system and release). |
