1. Remove assembly of the right power shaft (see Removal and installation of power shafts).
2. Check freedom of rotation of an external holder of the bearing (the mutual side play between holders has to remain uniform). In case of need make replacement of the bearing (see further).

3. By means of a special universal stripper with long guides accurately remove assembly of the intermediate bearing with the landing plug from internal section of a shaft. Slightly grease with dense lubricant an internal holder of the new bearing and put it on a shaft pin. Striking blows with the hammer to an internal holder through the drift made of a piece of a pipe of suitable diameter, put assembly of the bearing on a shaft against the stop it in external section of the CV JOINT. Afterwards put the plug, having densely pressed it to an internal holder of the bearing.

4. Check freedom of rotation of the bearing, then install assembly of a power shaft on the car (see Removal and installation of power shafts).
